OPEC+ cuts unlikely to exceed 1million bpd – Kachikwu

It would be very difficult for Nigeria to reduce oil production, Nigerian oil minister, Ibe Kachikwu has said on the sidelines a closely watched OPEC meeting in Vienna.

He said that he does not know how much Nigeria could contribute to cuts. He also noted “US President Trump has put us to work but we are looking at OPEC first.”

Ibe Kachikwu also added that any OPEC+ crude oil production cuts were unlikely to exceed the range of 800,000 to 1million bpd.
