Despite a large overhang of June and July cargoes, Nigeria issued a few August loading programmes on Thursday, adding to the existing glut, Reuters reports.

Around 10-15 June cargoes of Nigerian crude were still available as well as about 30 cargoes from the July programme. Programmes for Nigeria’s major stream Qua Iboe, Usan and Erha were released on Thursday.

Trade was limited. Oando sold a prompt June cargo of Forcados on a delivered basis earlier this week but further details did not emerge. Bonga delays were still on-going but Shell says that it has fixed an issue with its welded piping system.
