Mozambique’s national oil company, Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos (ENH), has secured a new chairman, Estevao Pale. He comes to ENH from Ncondezi Energy Limited where he served as a board member and non-executive director.

The Mozambican government has charged Pale with moving the country’s LNG projects forward in the face of the current global challenges with low energy prices and the Corona Virus. One of the LNG projects saw a setback last month when ExxonMobil said it would delay the final investment decision on the Rovuma LNG project in Mozambique due to these new industry dynamics.
