Exxon may delay Mozambique LNG project FID

The much anticipated $30 billion Mozambique LNG development may be put on hold if one of the project partners has its way. According to Reuters reporting, six of its sources say that ExxonMobil is likely to delay the final investment decision on the Mozambican LNG project.

The news comes during an oil production standoff between Russia and Saudi Arabia, and the global Corona Virus pandemic that are having a detrimental impact on oil prices that at times have dipped below the $30 per barrel mark.
