Africa’s richest man and President of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote has said that the construction of the fertilizer plant at Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical Complex will be completed between January and March 2018, THISDAY reports.

Speaking when the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu visited the refinery complex in Lagos, recently, Dangote stated that the first train of the fertiliser plant will commence operations in January next year, while the second line will be completed in March next year.

Dangote said his company was committed to playing its part in the efforts of the minister and the federal government to comprehensively address the energy crisis in the country. Dangote solicited the support of the federal government to enable his company to achieve these targets.
