Angola LNG resumes operations following ‘minor intervention’

Chevron-led Angola LNG project has resumed with the production of liquefied natural gas from its Soyo facility following a shutdown.

Angola LNG spokeswoman said the shutdown took place due to a ‘minor intervention’, without providing further detail. No timeline was given for the loading of the next LNG cargo following the resumption of operations.

Citing sources, Reuters reports the first cargo could be loaded later this month or early January, however, no tender has been issued by Angola LNG so far in December.
